About Transport Services

Transport Services provide Stellenbosch University (SU) and its staff with cost-effective, sustainable transport solutions for training, research, sports, cultural, and other associated activities.

The department gives effect to the Innovation and Commercialisation Vision Statement by delivering safe, reliable and sustainable transport.

The department has two branches (Main Campus in Stellenbosch) and Tygerberg Campus) and manages and operates SU’s total vehicle fleet, which includes the vehicle pool and departmental vehicles.

Transport Services also provides staff with vehicle financing options, negotiates prices for the purchase and sale of vehicles, and deals with all purchases and sales of SU vehicles.
